Jamie is a statistician, a trained French chef, a bonne vivante and writes whimsical children’s books when she isn’t a zealous marketing guru. She loves Family Guy, bacon, ketchup, chicken nuggets, France, bourbon, farts, feetie pajamas, yoga, fascinators, sequins, summer and play time to name a few. She also secretly loves carbs and Selena Gomez.
Jamie pursued a career in marketing and statistics before attending Le Cordon Bleu in Paris France to pursue her passion in gastronomy. This is when Jamie was inspired to write a children’s cookbook through whimsical story telling. She finished at the top of her class and worked at Hotel Meurice as a chef de patisserie and Alain Ducasse as a chef de cuisine. She has been featured in Korean Essen magazine and The Lost Bread is her first book.
Jamie was born in Seoul, Korea and lives and works in New York City.
